Alpine Code

OPEN SOURCE · DESKTOP APP

An idea of your own.
Let's build it together.

Open a folder and tell Alpine Code what you need.
It reads your files, makes changes,
and checks that they work.

Opening first on Apple silicon Macs. Leave your email and you'll hear first.

PRODUCT MAP

Everything you've built,
on one map.

Alpine Code reads your code and maps its features and user flows.
See at a glance what's been checked and what's left.

MADE TO HAND OFF

Hand it off
and rest easy.

WORK RESULT

Everything that changed, in one panel

Changed files, line by line, and the commands that ran, with how each went. No scrolling back through the chat.

The work result panel: two changed files, one opened to its changes, and two commands that ran.

SAFETY

You decide how much to hand over

Start by having it ask before everything. As you get comfortable, let it edit files right away. In Auto, AI double-checks and stops only what looks risky.

The safety menu: Ask first, Edit files freely, Auto, and Never ask.

AGENTS

A different agent for each job

Split roles like a homepage owner and a careful reviewer, each with its own model, instructions, tools and skills. Same snow hare, its own props and colors.

The agents screen, setting the default agent's model, instructions and tools.

MEMORY

Say it once, it remembers

When a rule comes up in chat, it asks before remembering, and only follows what you approve. Team memory lives in the repository, shared with your teammates.

The memory screen: one waiting suggestion and three team memories.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Before you start

Can I use it without knowing how to code?

Describe what you want in everyday language. Start with a small task and review file changes and command results as you go.

When can I use it?

We're taking a waitlist. Sign up and we'll email you as soon as the app opens.

Which computers does it run on?

The desktop app currently targets Apple silicon (M1 or later) Macs running macOS 11 or later. Windows desktop support is in progress.

Where do my files go?

Your project and conversation history stay on your computer. Requests and relevant task content are sent to your connected model provider. Alpine Code has no separate collection server.

Is it free?

Alpine Code is open source under the MIT license. Your connected subscription or API may charge for model use. You can also connect local models.

Start with a small idea.

Just your email is enough. The other questions help us build it better.
